I was talking to a friend the other day. According to her, some of her friends deserted her because of some misunderstanding. She tried to talk to them to patch things up but, to no avail. I told her that things happen for a reason. Later, our conversation goes something like this:
At some point, we might undergo the same experience, let me share some uplifting messages:
Don’t be afraid if some people will no longer be your friends. Because you deserve better friends. Because if a friend isn’t happy when you’re blessed, he isn’t a real friend. You need to change your friends! ~Bo Sanchez
Friends come and go, but with a precious few, you should hold on. Work hard to bridge the gaps in geography and lifestyle, because the older you get, the more you need the people who knew you when you were young. ~Mary Schmich
" Because if a friend isn’t happy when you’re blessed, he isn’t a real friend " - this is so true. Ano man ang mangyari sayo, Maganda man o hindi ang kaibigan ay kaibigan at di ka nya iiwan... another inspiring post :) keep it up...

Very interesting post. If a friend turns their back on you because a misunderstanding, I don't think they were a true friend.
ReplyDeleteDear Ric,
ReplyDeleteI have nominated you for the Leibster award. You can check the details on my blog.
Congrats!
i want to share this parang eye-opener sa mga magkakaibigan
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Ric:) Friends come and go and the ones who stay are the only true friends one has. I've lost friends who meant alot to me and just the thought of looisng another friend scares me a lot. Well, I hold on to the fact that these friends were nothing but a lesson though I find it hard to accept and let go. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteYou may never know who your true friends are until disaster strikes. The ones who stay close are the ones who care whilst the others can't run fast enough to get away. Loved your post and glad I came across it, just at the right time.
