Don't Cut the String

Could it be better without the string?
don't cut the string
Well-respected Filipino preacher and author  Bo Sanchez once mentioned in his article that we, humans  are like that kite whereas God is the boy flying the kite. The string represents our relationship with Him. There were times we feel that the string is holding us back and so we want the string be cut off so that we can live our lives on our own terms. For a time, perhaps it feels good.  We  can soar higher because we’re free. However, in due time we will come crashing down destroying ourselves.
The message: Don’t let the string be cut. Remain in our relationship with God. In other words, we have to allow Him to love us. Like the boy flying the kite. God has vision for our lives: to be able to soar higher  - as high as we can possibly be.

I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly.  ~John 10:10

When God gives you a 'No,' give Him a 'Thank you.' He was protecting you from less than His best. ~ author unknown

Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. ~John 15:5
