The Quest for Inspiration

The poem was created last June of this year. 
 And perhaps this is my prayer for today.
quest for inspiration
Guess I need few drops of inspiration today,
A simple boost for me. Lord, to You I pray.
Like a soft whisper, a joy to my ear,
Words of hope will bring me good cheer!

May the cool winds deliver the motivation.
And the rain showers me with good vibration.
Let the cloud capture the colors of varying hue
While bringing back memories that are lovely and true!

Then I will remember the good days of the old,
Shining with enthusiasm and sparkling like gold!
I’ll reminisce the days while humming a melody!
And this buoyant spirit will offer peace and harmony.

Then I will pass the same light to anyone 
I'll try to extend  my little sunshine!
Perhaps this dark world needs another rainbow.
And the zest of today will promise a bright tomorrow!

    How I wish I am surrounded by people like you, who wish to extend his positive energy to those who needed them.

    Also, I don't need shouts of praises and loud acknowledgements, just a whisper to start the day. Love this poem!

    Hi Ric,

    I like your poem. This speaks to me of humility. Sometimes, we think that we are okay, that we are enough, that we are capable ourselves of making the world turn on your hands. But implore God's help here. And you recognize that you need Him to give you inspiration.
