Creating Paper Boxes

Here's another tutorial for hobbyists this Christmas season - How to create paper boxes. Actually the tutorial is intended for  me because I keep on forgetting how to create one. I just thought I need a quick reference.

Steps:
1. Prepare the materials
*Square paper
*Scissors
2. Fold in half.
3. Fold the opposite half. You’ll notice the X crease.

4. Fold all the sides towards the center.
5. Then fold all the edges towards the center.
6. Open up the first quarter.

7. Make a diagonal cut as shown by the arrows.
8. Fold the triangular part towards the center.
9. Do the same thing on the opposite side. Cut the diagonal sides and then fold the triangles.

10. It should appear like this.
11. Fold the remaining sides towards the center.
12. The triangle folds will be used to attach the sides of the +box.
13. Assemble all the sides together.
14. Done. The cover box is ready. Do the same procedure for the base box.
Be sure that the paper size is few centimeters smaller (for the base box).

Have a joyful weekend, friends!
