"Dear God, It rained during our whole vacation and my father
was mad! He said some things about You that people are not supposed to say, but
I hope You will not hurt him anyway, Your friend, (but I am not going to tell
you who I am)
A short amusing story from Kerygma magazine:
Bernadette was teaching
her five-year old daughter, Andi the Lord’s Prayer. For several
evenings, Andi would repeat the lines after her. Finally, one night, Andi
decided to do it on her own. Bernadette
listened with pride as Andi carefully pronounced each word, right up to the
end: “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from e-mail. Amen!”
...O Lord, please deliver us from spammers, too (lol)
Finally, let me share a quote by Drew Barrymore:
"I guess I do have a childlike sense of fun, and although I still have my dark days, I'm generally an optimistic person. The way things have gone in my life, sure, I could have been a bitter person. But I just find bitter people really un-fun, you know? And who wants to be that person?"
