Never Borrow Troubles

   I maybe a worrier too, sometimes. But time and again  I  would  remind myself that  I should take hold of things by the smooth handle.

And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life? ~Luke 12:25

There is a story about a cranky and gloomy old man who surprised everyone one day with his pleasant disposition. When he was asked why, his response was: “It finally dawned on me that the Scriptures always say, ‘It came to pass’, and not ‘It came to stay’. We must hold on with our hope that all our trials will pass, and will be over, soon. ~Rev. Fr. Jerry Orbos 

Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. ~Matthew 6:34 

Nobody is Perfect But...

"Nobody is Perfect!" ~ our common excuse if we are caught doing the wrong thing.  And I agree  however, we were also  given the ability to discern the right from wrong.  Because in the end we will suffer the consequences of our every wrong action.

Worry is a Rocking Horse

Refrain from worrying! -  sometimes it is easier said than done.  And it is a struggle for me too. Good thing, we are always reminded  by the Scriptures.

In His Time

Don't Cry Over the Past

Let us learn to appreciate 
and enjoy the present moment.

A Dog or a Cat?

One priest delivered a homily with this dog and cat scenario.

Are we a dog or a cat?

A dog is grateful and appreciative, while a cat is presumptuous and demanding. 

A dog is humble whereas a cat is quite proud!

Don't Give Up

There'll be tough times - the times when we get discouraged and  tempted to give up.

I saw this inspiring quote from a book one afternoon. I've decided to create an artwork  and make the post together with the other  quotes listed below :

Laziness
