The Quest for Inspiration

The poem was created last June of this year.
And perhaps this is my prayer for today.
quest for inspiration
Guess I need few drops of inspiration today,
A simple boost for me. Lord, to You I pray.
Like a soft whisper, a joy to my ear,
Words of hope will bring me good cheer!

May the cool winds deliver the motivation.
And the rain showers me with good vibration.
Let the cloud capture the colors of varying hue
While bringing back memories that are lovely and true!

Then I will remember the good days of the old,
Shining with enthusiasm and sparkling like gold!
I’ll reminisce the days while humming a melody!
And this buoyant spirit will offer peace and harmony.

Then I will pass the same light to anyone
I'll try to extend  my little sunshine!
Perhaps this dark world needs another rainbow.
And the zest of today will promise a bright tomorrow!

Another poem -  Seeing Rejection

Cheerful Acronym (again)

A sudden noise  woke me up from a deep sleep at 3 am. I can’t go back to sleep so I grabbed a book and started reading. A thought passed through my mind and I scribbled the message. Later I created the graphic illustration below based on that message:
cheerful acronym

Definitely a good reminder for me today.

(By the way, I also thought of another idea for my brother's e-book project. Waking up at the middle of the night (or early morning)  is not so bad after all.) Have a good day, everyone!

'Cheer up!' ~  a simple note to self ...and to you as well. We all have our not-so-good days. Anyway, I'd like to share the acronym I've created for cheer up. It's the same post made for bubblews but because of the recent changes on the site a lot of visitors weren't able to  access that post.  Good thing I still have a copy in my computer.
cheer up
C - Cheer up! Keep your cool. Maybe it’s just a bad day, not a bad life!
H – Hang in there! Continue despite the difficulties. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
E – Enjoy the journey. Laugh, and laugh some more. Don't be too hard on yourself.
E – Eat right. Exercise. Nourish yourself.
R – Remind yourself that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is a heart-felt ‘Thank you!’

U – Unclutter your life. Simplify pleasures. Eliminate the needless wants.
P – Pray. Ask for God’s guidance. Believe that the prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. (James 5:16)
